TagPatrol Terms of Service

Contents· 14 sections

Effective date: 10 September 2026
Provider: Agent Galactica Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202539172N), Singapore ("we", "us", "Provider"). Contact: legal@tagpatrol.app.

These Terms govern access to and use of TagPatrol at tagpatrol.app, including the free scanner, one-off audits, Monitor and Agency subscriptions, the API and any reports ("Service"). By creating an account, placing an order or running a scan you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms. If you act for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. The Service is offered to businesses and professionals; it is not intended for consumers, and consumer protection laws are excluded to the extent permitted.

1. The Service

1.1 TagPatrol loads web pages you specify in an automated browser, replays consent states, records tags, cookies, pixels and network requests, and produces a scored report with findings and suggested remediation.
1.2 The Service is built and operated by AI agents under human direction. Reports, remediation text and support replies may be generated by AI. We disclose this openly and you accept it as a feature of the Service.
1.3 We may modify the Service, including the checks it performs, at any time. We will give 30 days' notice of changes that materially reduce functionality for paid plans.

2. Accounts

You must give an accurate email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for anyone you invite to it. Notify us at once of any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

3.1 Authorisation. You may only audit websites that you own, operate, or are expressly authorised by the owner to audit (for example, as their agency or consultant). You warrant that you hold that authority for every URL you submit and will produce evidence of it on request.
3.2 No use against third parties. You must not use the Service to investigate, monitor, or gather evidence about a website without the owner's authority, to support litigation or regulatory complaints against a third party without their authority, or to harass, defame or extort any person.
3.3 No interference. You must not use the Service to overload, probe for vulnerabilities in, or circumvent access controls of any site; submit URLs behind authentication that you are not entitled to access; reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the engine; or use it to build a competing product.
3.4 Lawful use. You must comply with all applicable laws, including computer misuse, data protection and consumer protection laws in Singapore and the jurisdictions of the audited sites. In particular the Singapore Computer Misuse Act 1993 and equivalent laws elsewhere may make unauthorised access an offence.
3.5 Fair use. Plans carry stated limits (pages, domains, frequency). We may throttle or suspend usage that materially exceeds them or that degrades the Service for others.
3.6 We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this Section without refund, and may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

4.1 Reports are technical evidence of what our browser observed at a point in time under the conditions we controlled. They are not legal advice, a legal opinion, a certification, or an audit within the meaning of any professional standard.
4.2 A passing score does not mean a site complies with the GDPR, ePrivacy rules, the PDPA, CCPA/CPRA, or any other law, and a failing score does not mean it breaches them. Compliance depends on facts we cannot see, including contracts, consent records, server-side processing and legal interpretation.
4.3 Results can vary with geography, time, device, consent management platform changes, A/B tests and personalisation. We do not warrant that a report is complete or that it identifies every tag, cookie or transfer.
4.4 You are responsible for deciding what to do with a report. Consult a qualified lawyer for legal compliance decisions. Remediation suggestions are generic guidance, not instructions tailored to your legal position.
4.5 Nothing in a report should be presented to a regulator, court or third party as our certification of compliance or non-compliance.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 Your content and reports. You retain all rights in the URLs and settings you submit and in any client logos or names you upload. On payment, you own the reports generated for you and may use, copy, share and modify them for your and your clients' internal purposes and, on the Agency plan, under your own branding (Section 7).
5.2 Our engine. We and our licensors own the Service, the audit engine, checklists, rules, scoring methodology, templates, software, documentation, and all improvements. No rights are granted except the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms during your subscription.
5.3 Feedback and learning. You grant us a licence to use anonymised and aggregated audit data (for example, which tags fire on which CMPs) to improve detection rules and publish industry statistics that do not identify you or your clients. We will not publish your client's domain in connection with your account without consent.
5.4 Trade marks. TagPatrol and our logos are our marks. You may state that a report was "generated with TagPatrol" but not imply endorsement.

6. Payments and merchant of record

6.1 Payments for the Service are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Depending on your location the seller of record is Paddle.com Market Limited (company no. 8172165, England and Wales; 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom), Paddle.com Inc. (3811 Ditmars Blvd #1071, Astoria, NY 11105-1803, USA) for buyers in the United States, or Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. (22 Adelaide Street West, Suite 3400, Toronto, Ontario M5H 4E3, Canada) for buyers in Canada. Paddle sells the Service to you on our behalf, issues your invoice, and calculates and collects any applicable VAT, GST or sales tax. Paddle's Checkout Terms apply to the payment transaction; these Terms apply to the Service itself, and if the two conflict, Paddle's terms govern the payment and ours govern everything else. Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy at tagpatrol.app/refunds, which forms part of these Terms, and executed by Paddle to your original payment method; you may also contact Paddle directly about a charge.
6.2 Prices are shown at checkout in USD unless stated otherwise and exclude taxes unless the checkout says they are included.
6.3 Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price at each billing interval until cancelled. You may cancel any time from the account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and no pro-rata refund is given except as stated in the Refund Policy.
6.4 Price changes take effect at your next renewal after at least 30 days' email notice.
6.5 Failed payment. If a renewal fails, we may suspend the Service after 7 days and delete data per the Privacy Policy retention schedule after the account lapses.
6.6 Free tier. Free scans are provided as-is, may be limited or withdrawn at any time, and require email capture. We may email you about the Service; every message includes an unsubscribe link.

7. Agency plan and white-label terms

7.1 The Agency plan lets you generate reports bearing your name and logo ("White-label Reports") for the number of client domains included in your plan, with additional domains at the published per-domain fee.
7.2 You may present White-label Reports to your clients as your own deliverable. You remain fully responsible to your clients for any advice you give based on them, and you must not represent that the report constitutes legal advice or a compliance certification.
7.3 You must hold the client's authority to audit each domain (Section 3.1) and must pass through to your clients, in your own client terms, limitations at least as protective of us as Sections 4, 9 and 10.
7.4 You must not remove any technical accuracy disclaimer embedded in the report body. You may remove our branding.
7.5 You may not resell access to the Service itself, share logins across agencies, or offer the Service as a stand-alone product. Client portal access is for your clients to view their own reports only.
7.6 We will not contact your clients for marketing purposes. We may contact them where required by law or for security notices.

8. Confidentiality and data

8.1 Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential, using it only for the purposes of these Terms, except where disclosure is required by law.
8.2 Our handling of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy at tagpatrol.app/privacy. Where you are a controller of personal data contained in audit artefacts, we act as your processor for that data and the Data Processing Terms at tagpatrol.app/dpa apply.
8.3 Audit artefacts are retained as stated in the Privacy Policy (90 days for one-off audits and free scans unless you subscribe). Download anything you need to keep.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

9.1 We warrant that we will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care and in material accordance with its published description.
9.2 Except as stated in 9.1, the Service and all reports are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability.
9.3 We do not warrant that use of the Service will make you or your clients compliant with any law or will prevent any regulatory action, fine, or claim.

10. Limitation of liability

10.1 Cap. Our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms and the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us (through the MoR) in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. For free-tier users, the cap is USD 100.
10.2 Excluded losses. We are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or data; regulatory fines or penalties; costs of legal proceedings or remediation; or any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss, even if foreseeable.
10.3 Not excluded. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10.4 Time bar. Claims must be brought within 12 months of the event giving rise to them.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your breach of Section 3 (including auditing a site without authority); your or your clients' reliance on a report; any advice you give based on a report; and content you upload (including client logos).

12. Term, suspension and termination

12.1 These Terms apply from account creation until your account is closed.
12.2 You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for material breach (immediately for Section 3 breaches, otherwise after 14 days' notice if uncured), non-payment, legal requirement, or if we discontinue the Service on 60 days' notice with a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unused period in that last case only.
12.3 On termination, your licence ends, and we delete your data per the Privacy Policy. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

13.1 These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
13.2 The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party submits to that jurisdiction. Claims within the Small Claims Tribunals' limit may be brought there.
13.3 Before starting formal proceedings, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by correspondence for 30 days.
13.4 Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.

14. General

14.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and any order confirmation are the entire agreement and supersede prior discussions.
14.2 Assignment. You may not assign without our consent. We may assign to a successor of the business on notice.
14.3 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages of third-party providers named in the Privacy Policy.
14.4 Notices. To us: legal@tagpatrol.app. To you: the email on your account.
14.5 Severability, waiver, no partnership. Invalid provisions are severed; no waiver is implied; nothing creates a partnership, agency or employment.
14.6 Third parties. No one other than the parties has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.
14.7 Changes. We may update these Terms with 30 days' email notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel before that date.
14.8 Language. These Terms are in English; translations are for convenience only.
